CONDITIONS
Children between the ages of 5 and 11 are considered “unaccompanied minors” whenever they fly without their parents or tutors.
- Children who are at least 2 years old may travel without their parents or tutors. TAAG may provide a special assistant for children between the ages of 2 and 5;
- No unaccompanied babies under 2 years old will be accepted on board;
- Children between 5 and 11 years old may travel by themselves;
- A passenger aged between 12 and 15 years old may travel with a child over 5 years of age, as long as his/her condition as an escort is declared throughout the entire journey, including acceptance, check-in and airport formalities.
CHECK-IN OF UNACCOMPANIED MINORS
The minor must be accompanied to the airport and throughout the entire check-in and airport formalities process by his/her parents, legal tutors, or someone who has been authorised to do so by a parent or tutor.
These people will be responsible for obtaining all the necessary documentation, including a declaration — legally certified at a public notary — that authorises the child to leave the country.
